Please choose one of Roald Dahl's characters and create a 3D model of it in the style of Quentin Blake. I totally understand you may need to put together a couple of resources for this, so you can complete this task over the next 2 / 3 weeks.
Please read the Access Art website page and look at how the children have made their models: some have used scrunched up newspaper, masking tape and modroc and some have used modelling clay and paint. It may get a bit messy so you will need some help from an adult.
You could also try creating a 3D scene as the little girl has done with James and the Giant Peach. She used a balloon, paper mache to create the peach.
IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO FIND THESE RESOURCES, DO NOT WORRY. YOU CAN CONTINUE DRAWING IN YOUR BOOK, AND COMPLETE THIS ALTERNATIVE TASK.
Please draw the characters from your story, The Winter King, in the style of Quentin Blake. You may need to practise a little more by copying more characters from his website.
Do you think the Winter King may be wearing similar clothes to Mr Willy Wonka perhaps??
Can you add colour this time? Quentin Blake uses black ink for his lines and then adds colour using water colour paint. You could use colouring pencils to add colour if you don't have any paint.
