LO: To write a formal letter
Today you are going to pretend to be Mrs Sass and write a letter home to Liam’s
outlining the assembly incident; and
complaining about Liam’s behaviour.
You will need to follow the guidelines on formal letter writing.
YOU DONT NEED TO PRINT ANY OF THE DOCUMENTS OUT FOR TODAY'S LESSON
FRIDAY 15TH JANUARY
Today we will be looking at Liam and identifying his character traits. If you haven't read the chapters I have asked, you will need to do so before the lesson.
Please download the character document for use during the lesson, if you cant print please copy the image on a page in your book.
We will be putting our ideas onto a padlet during the lesson which I will then upload after the zoom session for you to use to do a short bit of writing
The last chapter to read was ' I Nearly Shaved Myself to Death' which is uploaded below or there is an audio version you can use to follow the text

Grammar and Punctuation
We will be using the Natural Curriculum's website for today's grammar lesson where we will be revising and learning about bullet points. If you can, familiarise yourself with the website before the lesson and watch the clip about king penguins. You will be completing challenge 1 and challenge 2 on the worksheet.

Thursday 14th January
In today's lesson, we will be learning about our different reading skills we use and need to comprehend and read. We will then be applying these to help us interpret and 'make sense' of a picture. Have a look at the picture below and if you can print it off but don't worry if you can't just have it ready on your screen.
