Homework 8th October 2021
This week we have celebrated the National Poetry Day. Thank you for everyone who chose a poem and read it to the class! Well done!
In Geography, we have created a great display showing our local area and our favourite places! Thanks for the brilliant picturesJ
I have been very impressed with children’s sentences which they have written as part of the homework! Great work!
This week we looked at the grapheme ‘kn’ with a ghost letter ‘k’ like in words: know, knew, knee etc.
Please practise the spellings ahead of next Friday:
Continue with reading and please leave a note in the Reading Record commenting on your child’s reading.
There are Maths Quizzes assigned on Diagnostic Questions for the children to complete.
For our last Geography lesson this term, I would like all the children to learn how to write their home address before Thursday 14th October 2021.
Read the letter from Lucy and come up with creative ideas to solve her problem. Perhaps you can make a poster or a leaflet encouraging adults and children to start exercising? Return your work on 19th October 21.
