Wednesday 1st April
Good morning you fabulous lot! How are you this morning?
Well, we've reached the last day of "term"! I hope you have pretty much finished the home learning pack and enjoyed the tasks you had to do.
I won't be expecting you to work during the Easter holiday but if your mum/dad/carer want you to keep up with some things, that'll be fantastic! Still keep up with the fresh air and exercise though! There are lots of ideas for Easter crafts online. Will you be doing an Easter Egg hunt perhaps?
Today's special task:
I'll be putting on some Samba music today and pretending we are doing our Mardis Gras celebration. Perhaps you could design a mask or a head-dress today (I know Martha has already done this!) and draw it in your sketch book.
Thank you for your pictures and messages these past couple of weeks. I miss you all so much, it is wonderful to hear from you each day.
Stay safe and well my lovely Year 3 gang. Thinking of you.
Have a great day!
Hi Parents / Carers
Just a note to say well done for the last two weeks! I'm sure it's been an adjustment for all of you, trying to juggle working from home and teaching your children too. You are all amazing.
It is entirely up to you with regards to working over Easter. As a school we are not expecting the children to work over the holiday but I understand some of you may want to retain some kind of daily structure. I will be uploading some more books on to Rising Stars and some more quizzes on to Diagnostic Questions.
As for moving forwards, work will be set weekly after Easter. As a staff we will be in contact with each other to discuss how this is presented, recorded and assessed. Suffice it to say we have your children's best interests at the heart of what we do so please be reassured we will do our best to support your child's learning as the weeks continue.
Please have a healthy, happy Easter and I will be in touch at the end of the "holiday".
All best wishes,
