Forest School

Forest Sessions

Within our Forest sessions we aim to deliver child centred learning processes which provide the learner with inspiring, hands on experiences in the natural environment. Our sessions are led by an experienced Forest Lead. The children in EYFS and KS1 each get to attend Forest School for a half term.

In our Forest sessions children are taught to

• Be equal, unique and valuable
• Be competent to explore and discover
• Experience appropriate risk and challenge
• Choose and to initiate and drive their own learning and development
• Experience regular success
• Develop positive relationships with themselves and other people
