School Council
School Council Representatives
School Council representatives are chosen from Years 2 - 6. The process of selection is through a class vote.
Candidates have the opportunity to make a speech stating why they wish to stand for school council and their class members vote for their preferred candidate.
The School Council feeds directly into SLT (Senior Leadership Team) meetings. They have collated votes for their classes and chosen local and national charities to support this year. As an example of their work, the children have previously oragnised a charity day for Young Epilepsy where the children learnt about what epilepsy was, everyone wore purple for the day and there was a chance to buy purple ribbons to wear in recognition of the charity. This was a great success and we look forward to organising our next charity event soon.
Come back soon to find out more about the developments from the School Council.
