EYFS News
Our last few days in EYFS will be spent spending time with our friends and our Year Six Buddies. What a great year we have all had! Thank you so much to the children for working so hard and making us all smile and laugh throughout the year. We look forward to watching you flourish and grow as you progress through the school. And thank you to all the parents for your continuing support.

Important things to remember:
As we are expecting warmer weather please ensure that your child has a water bottle and sun hat in school every day. Also please apply sun cream before coming to school in the morning and if required the children can reapply sun cream before lunch at school.
Reading books are changed on Monday so please return to school after reading with your child. Please make sure to write a comment in your child’s contact book so we know that the books have been read and then we will change them..
On Wednesday we will be reading to Year Four so please ensure that your child brings their reading books into school on this day
PE this term will continue to be on Tuesday and hopefully we will be outside in the sunshine.
Spelling Tricky Words - We are starting to learn how to spell tricky words in class. We will introduce the 3 tricky words in class on a Tuesday and then will send home in contact books information about your child's words that evening. We also send home a sheet to practise writing and spelling the words. This is to complete at home and does not need to be returned to school. We will continue to practise words throughout the week at school. On Monday we will have a spelling test. If your child gets '3 ticks' (all correct) then they will move onto the next 3 words, if not they will keep the same words to practise and learn for another week. Please support your child at home to learn the words through practise and fun games.
