Wel done to everyone for another week of great learning. As the weatheris a bit cooler, the children enjoyed longer PE lessons.

English: We planned and wrote next part ofour explanation text 'How chocolate ismade'.

Reading: We continued reading 'The Wild Way Home' by Sophie Kirtley.

Maths: We were solving problems related totime and workour durations of time.

Geography: We learnt about how land isused in UK.

Science: We talked about roots and their function. We planted mustard seed andwe will observe how quickly roots grow.

Art: We learnt about Alice Kettle - an artist who uses tread to paint pictures.

Next Week

English: We will contune to write our explanation text focusing on using conjunctions in our writing.

Reading: We will continue to practise fluency and comprehension skills using The Wild Way Home.

Maths: We will start learning about shapes.

PE: We will continue learning cricket skills.

Art: We will practise sewing and make an art on a fabric hopefully inspired by Alice Kettle and the themes we studied in class.
