Year 3 News

In Yeare 3 we had a great start of Term 3. Everyone settled very well in class and worked hard too.
 
This week: 
In maths we are learning 3 and 4 timestables.

In science we were learning about different type of rocks and how they are formed.

In reading we started a new book: 'The boy who grew dragons'.

In history we were learning about the job of an archeologist and we learned in more detail about Skara Brae - Stone age village discovered in Scotland.

In PE we started to create our class dance routine.

Next week: 
In maths we will be rehearsing times tables and learn 8 times tables.

In reading we will be focusing on comprehension in our lessons.

In English we will be learning about a non-chronological report.

In science we will be continuing to study rocks.

Important things to remember: 

PE this term will be on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Please ensure your child comes to school in their PE kit on this day.
