Year 4 News

This week in Year 4 we have had a good week!

We have been exploring our Regulation tools in our Zones of Regulation lessons and identifying what tools can help within different zones.

This week:

In Maths we are learning about the 3-, 6- and 9-times table.

In English we are learning how to plan and write a formal letter.  

In reading we are exploring the text ‘Stig of the Dump’ and focusing on answering inference questions.

In science we are learning about States of Matter and how changes of temperature can change the State of Matter of an object.

We have also been exploring different types of throws we could use in a Netball match.

Next week:

In maths we will be learning about the 7- and 11- times table.

In English we will be learning using our learnt knowledge of commas in a list and apostrophes for contractions to write a formal letter.  

In reading we will be exploring the text ‘Stig of the Dump’ and focusing on our fluency.  

In science we will be learning whether all liquids are able to be frozen into solids.

VR Workshop Letters need to be in before the 20th November.
