Year 5 News

Year 5 really enjoyed Science Week. The workshop they attended yesterday was great fun, they were extremely engaged and enjoyed many hands-on activities.

This week: 

In maths we are learning about fractions and decimals as percentages.

In English we are using our model text to explore the features of a biography.

In reading we are learning how to find evidence in a text.

In science we are learning about irreversible changes.

After half term:

In maths we will be learning about perimeter and area.

In English we will be learning how to write an effective biography.

In reading we will be learning how to answer written comprehension questions.

In science we will be starting our new unit of work, Living Things and their Habitats.
